Quick and Dirty Breakfast: Protein Oatmeal

I’m a quick and dirty kind of a guy. I love to Snatch, and I Clean and Jerk for Load and Time.

So when my wife discovered that we could make Delicious and Nutritious High Protein oatmeal in under two minutes, I was hooked.

The best part? You can add peanut butter, which is the food version of pure gold. Thanks George Washington Carver!

Know how to boil water? Then you can do this.

Step one: Put instant oatmeal in bowl. I use half a cup (which turns into a cup when cooked).

Step two: Add boiling water and wait a minute or two. For thicker oatmeal, use less water. If you prefer watery oatmeal, simple add more boiling water.

Step three: Add one scoop of your favorite chocolate flavored protein powder and mix well. (Vanilla also works but why would you do that?)

Step four: Add whatever you like to increase the deliciousness. I use crunchy peanut butter and lots of it. You can use chia seeds, slivered almonds, chocolate nibs, or all of the above! You can even go wild and dice up a green apple to toss it in there too. It all depends on how much time you wish to spend.
