You are not a rubber band

You are not a rubber band

You are not a rubber band. You’re a person.

Stop stretching yourself in too many directions. Now, before you snap.

Here’s how to succeed: Pick one thing to focus on.

Everything else goes into maintenance mode. Throw all your emotional and material resources at doing lots of that one thing. Get really good at it, then move on to something else.

Example: This blog post. Last week I was trying to do everything in my business. From coaching to sales to marketing to costumer experience. Right now I am giving all I got to producing helpful content every day.

Here’s what surprised me the most: As I let go of all the pressure I was putting on myself, all the other stuff got better without any effort on my part.

How should you decide what your focus should be? Best option is to talk to a trusted friend or mentor. Prayer works wonders, regardless of if whether you are religious or not. Forgive yourself for your mistakes.

Need someone to talk to? Schedule a meeting with me here. I would love to hear your story.

How To Get Back To Fitness When You Are In A Rut: The Number One Rule Revealed!

When trying to change, be kind to yourself. I have never seen anyone truly succeed by beating the shit out of themselves or harping on what is flawed in themselves or their circumstances. Tiger Woods was (is?) the greatest golfer ever to play the game. But his drive...
